Allyson Roche is a writer, collage artist, and actor from Los Angeles, California. Allyson’s writing has appeared in Mister Magazine, Inside Voice, The Cry Lounge, Neologism, and Fiilthy Glo. In UCLA's English Departmental Honors Program, Allyson was awarded the 2023 Thompson Prize for her Honors Thesis entitled, "'Between Gloom and Laughter': Female Longing, Unhappiness, and Structures of Absence in the Works of Virginia Woolf." She intends on pursuing a PhD in English with a focus on Modernism and Queer and Feminist Theory.
Allyson worked as a professional child actress until the age of 12, appearing in more than 25 national commercials. Her IMDB is here. She can be seen most recently in Alpine Universe’s music video, “The Hunter,” as well as the Zephyr Theater’s Jane Austen satire, Inducements and Encouragements as Lady Cassandra. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.
